Occurring on three special days throughout the year, Open Cockpit Day invites museum visitors to view our famous aircraft from the cockpit.

Aircraft include:

A-3 Skywarrior
A-4 Skyhawk
A-6 Intruder
A-7 Corsair
Harrier Jump-Jet
T-39 Sabreliner
Mustang P-51 ¾ scale
Cessna 0-2
Mig-15

Short Solent Flying Boat walk through tour for an additional fee.

Activities during Open Cockpit include:

Color Guard
Alfredo's Mexican Food and refreshments for purchase.
NOTE: Payments accepted (Cash, Venmo or Zelle only).
Live music by The Friends of Ken Band.
European Train Enthusiasts exhibit.
Oakland Fire Department with Oakland Airport Fire Truck
ORCA Ham Radio exhibit and demonstration.
